when visiting the monuments of the Route of the Romanesque, we were surprised to see that the motifs in the region's embroidery are similar to the iconographic sculptures on its portals. From these similarities, and after much research, Românico Embroidery was grow. New and innovative concept.

we are the first Portuguese company to start work to value and
identify manual embroidery from the region, which is beautiful, to the
cultural icons of romanesque monuments.
we are convinced that by valuing the authentic craftsmanship - handmade - intrinsic to the region, whose values and culture are transmitted from generation to generation, we are sharing it with people and customers committed to the new social economy, by giving preference to original hand-embroidered products/pieces .
each embroidered piece comes snuggled in beautiful packaging, with a sophisticated and functional design, suitable for each type and use. Made of double kraft cardboard. Logotyped tissue paper delicately wraps each piece. It comes with a succinct cultural description of the monument and the embroidery.

OPEN HEMM
In the open sheath, the threads are removed in one direction, parallel to running of work and the way it develops. The “counted thread” motifs create beautiful transparencies.
SIEVE
In the sieve, the weft and warp threads are removed to work on the openings in the remaining threads. The execution is in a net, the design is woven over the grid resulting from the threads taken.
FULL STITCH
